ULYSSES – Paul R. Rosales Sr., 70, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 5, 1943, to Gregorio and Clara (Reyes) Rosales in Campbellton, Texas.
He married Mary M. Montez Rosales Dec. 10, 1968, in Ulysses. She survives.
Other survivors include five sons, Paul Rosales Jr. and wife, Cordelia, Ulysses, John Rosales, Ulysses, Mike Rosales and wife, Linda, Garden City, Raymond Rosales and wife, Laura, Salina, and Royce Rosales and wife, Andria, Garden City; five brothers, Foustino Rosales, Lakin, Demetrio Rosales, Ingalls, Gregorio Rosales Jr., Dallas, David Rosales, Hobert, Okla., and Richard Rosales, Hollis, Okla.; three sisters, Mary Ann Romo, Garden City, Maria Martinez, Hollis, and Emma Irle, Gonzales, Texas; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Matias Rosales, Reynaldo Rosales, Thomas Cruz Rosales and Enrique Rosales; three sisters, Jovita Benavidez, Irlene Vasquez, Josefina Martinez; and nieces and nephews.
• Rosary service was at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses.
Mass service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses.
Burial was at the Ulysses Cemetery.
