BALKO, Okla. – William G. O’Dell, 63, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, in Perryton, Texas.

He was born Dec. 26, 1946, to William Claude and Melvina Mariah (Broom) O’Dell in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He married Linda Cowan Dec. 8, 1977, in Guymon, Okla. He survives.

He graduated from high school.

He served in the United States Marines. He was a lineman with the electric company.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0213, the IBEW and Local 2, St. Louis.

He is also survived by his sons, Carl Roberts, Guymon, Okla., Ben Roberts and wife, Benda, Balko, Okla.; and Jason O’Dell, Perryton; his daughter, Frances Bennett, Waco, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

• Memorial funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Balko Baptist Church with Fred Huff and Jason Johnston presiding.

Burial will be at the Bethany Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Beaver County (Okla.) Sheltered Workshop in Beaver, Okla.
