Obituary

HUGOTON – Charles O. Broaddus III “Charlie B.,” 57, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in Hugoton.

He was born Nov. 7, 1955, to Charles O. Jr. and Juanita Evelyn (Miller) Broaddus in Hugoton.

He married Cindy Bressler March 1, 1985, in Hugoton. She survives.

He graduated from Hugoton High School. He received his mechanic training at General Motors Technical training.

He owned and operated Charlie’s Light Truck Service.

Other survivors include his father; his son, Chip Howard Broaddus, Woodward, Okla.; his  daughter, Brandi Laura Broaddus, Trinidad, Colo.; his brother, Mark K. Broaddus and wife, Jennifer, Memphis, Tenn.; and his sisters, Beverly E. Young and husband, (Ret) Col. Morris M., Niceville, Fla., Barbara C. McCaskell, Hugoton, and Virginia A. Martin and husband, Jeffrey D., Hugoton.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

• Graveside memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Hugoton Cemetery with Pastor Eric Mason presiding.

Memorials are suggested to the Moscow School Athletic Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 423 S. Main, Hugoton, KS  67951.
