Led by quarterback Jett Little, the Meade Buffaloes proved that not even a postponement could slow them down Saturday afternoon as they cruised to a 48-6 win over Cimarron.
Little managed to find his way to the endzone seven times in the game.
The game had been postponed due to lightning in the second quarter with Meade leading 28-0, with all four of the Buffaloes touchdowns coming on rushes by Little.
When play resumed Saturday, Cimarron managed to score on a 17-yard touchdown pass, but that was all the Blue Jays saw of the endzone.
After that, the Little highlight reel continued, as he scored three more times.
Little ran the ball 31 times for 195 yards and those seven touchdowns to go along with a 3-of-6 passing performance for 42 yards.
Running back Morgan Olvera added 167 yards rushing on 28 carries.
Meade had 463 total yards of offense in the game.
The Buffaloes will be at home Friday looking for a fourth consecutive win as they take on Stanton County.
