DAVID MANGELS
ULYSSES – David "Dave" Mangels, 49, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Ulysses.
He was born October 15, 1963,  the son of Floyd Carl and Velma Hazel (Joyner) Mangels, at Wellington.
He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and also worked in construction.
He is survived by one son, Stevie Lackey, Brigham City, Utah; four brothers, Darrel Mangel, Ulysses, Carl Mangels, Piedmont, Okla., Edward Mangels, Ulysses, and Lloyd Mangels, Leipers Fork, Tenn.; one sister, Judy Caldwell, Ulysses.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vikki.
o Memorial Service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Janet Hernandez presiding. 
Memorials are suggested to the Dave Mangels memorial fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.
