MEADE—The high-powered Meade offense was on display again Friday night at home, as they put a beating to the Wichita County Indians in a 73-18 blowout.
The outcome of the game was never in question, as the Buffaloes led 28-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Quarterback Jett Little had another big game with six total touchdowns.
Senior tight end Morgan Davis had a touchdown in the first half, and Meade led 46-0 at halftime.
With second and third string players on the field in the second half, the Buffaloes continued to find paydirt.
Sophomore running back Miguel Rogers had a pair of touchdowns for Meade in the second half.
Junior running back Ryan Friesen got in on the action when he found the endzone for the final Meade touchdown.
The win is the sixth in a row for the Buffaloes and brings their record to 6-1 on the year following a loss to Holcomb to open the season.
Meade will travel to Elkhart Friday to take on the undefeated Wildcats (7-0) in what should be an exciting matchup the the top two teams in the Hi-Plains district.
