The Youth Cross Country Challenge will be taking place Sunday at Light Park. It is open to children in grades one through eight.

First through fourth graders will be running a one mile race, while fifth through seventh will run one-and-a-half miles and eighth graders will run two miles.

Registration will begin at 3 p.m. and the first race will start at 4 p.m.

There is a $5 entry fee per child for all three of the races.
