Clive Arden Bridenstine, 90, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away on October 30, 2013, at Trinity Hospital, Muscatine.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Muscatine with a memorial service to follow. 
Cremation Rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center, Muscatine.  Inurment will be at a later date in the Liberal, Kansas Public Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clive and Avis Bridenstine Church of Christ Student Scholarship or directly to the Muscatine Church of Christ.

Clive was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on November 16, 1922, the son of Vernis and Ida ( Wilhoit) Bridenstine. 
He graduated from Liberal High School and continued his education while serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. 
On March 29, 1947 Clive was married to Avis Calhoun; they were married 67 years.
Clive had a long career with Northern Natural Gas Company and its subsidiary, Hydrocarbon Transportation, Inc.  He spent 25 years in the Iowa City area before ending his career in Omaha, Nebraska.  In total, Clive worked 42 years for Northern Natural Gas with positions in Kansas, Texas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Clive is survived by his wife, Avis; daughter, Judy Breese and her husband, Bob Breese; son, Richard and his wife, Maureen; grandchildren, Cara Breese, Chris Breese, Mike Bridenstine and Susan Bridenstine and her husband, Victor Rojas; great-grandchildren David Rojas and Mara Rojas; brothers, Glen, Jack and Rod; sister, Martha Belle Howell; and other family and friends.
Clive is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joan Boren, Beverly Graves and Barbara Vickery; and brother, Larry.
