Ethel “Sis” Gross, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.
She was born Aug. 24, 1931, to Hubert D. and Eva Pearl(Ives) Hughes, in Houston, Texas.
She married Gordon Gross on Oct. 27, 1949. He preceded her in death Jan. 4, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Roasalie Hughes and Gloria Chandler.
She is survived by two sons, Phil and wife, Cheryl, Mustang, Okla., Scott and wife, Kelley, Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Nancy Andrews and husband, Kenny, Liberal; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
• Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Gruver.
Burial will follow at Gruver Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Memorials are suggested to the Outdoor Adventure Foundation, C/O Christopher Gross 4645 S. Bonham, Amarillo, Texas 79110 or BSA Hospice.
