Friday afternoon Seward took on the No. 25 North Platte Knights.

The Saints struggled out of the gate early, managing only four field goals in the first half, and found themselves behind 27-21 at halftime.

Seward came out stronger in the second half, taking the lead at one point, but the Knights answered back and regained the lead late in the contest.

The Saints had a chance to send it to overtime in the final seconds but were unable to connect, and North Platte escaped with the 57-54 win.

Seward shot 30 percent for the game, and had only one assist as a team in the game.
