This year’s theme: “Christmas, Love in Action”

The Plains Lions Club wishes everyone a wonderful and bountiful Thanksgiving this Thursday. It is a time for family and friends and remembering God’s blessings.

After Thursday, keep in mind that Christmasing In Plains is fast approaching. A time for a parade, for the WIZZYWIG gift and craft show and for the young ones to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and ride the Kiddy Train.

The Frosty Races will be run Saturday morning the 14th. This is a scheduling change.

The WIZZYWIG show will be from noon till 6 p.m. Sunday the 8th.

The Bellas (our community bell choir) will be performing after the noon meal around 12:45 p.m.

The parade will start at 4 p.m.

The Lions will serve a meal at noon and a hot bowl of chili to warm folks up after the parade.

All activities except the parade are in the Community Building in the Park on Sunday the 8th.

Plains is the place to be Dec. 8.
