Liberal gave up 16 threes in the final game of the Conestoga Classic Saturday in the Big House, a potential record performance against the Liberal defense in an 88-54 win for the Bartlesville Bruins.
Bartlesville was abel to score at will, and whether they drove the lane or camped outside, the Redskins could not slow down the Bruins.
Bartlesville’s worst quarter of the night was the third when they scored 16 points including three three-pointers.
The redskins actually won the third with a 17-point performance including two threes from Blake Stout, a three from Cade Hinkle, four points from Britton Abbott and two-point baskets from Nolan Larkin and Jared Hasik.
That narrowed the Bartlesville advantage to 63-44.
But the Bruins did not sit on the 19-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Bartlesville scored 25 points in the fourth including five three-pointers, and the redskins only managed 10 points.
Abbott was the only Redskin to reach double digits with 12.
Stout hit three three-pointers for nine points, and Hayden Coker also had nine.
Liberal (1-3) will return to the Big House Friday to host Perryton.
