With each school already making the six-mile trek to battle in each others gyms, the two traveled 80-plus miles one way for their third matchup in Woodward.

Forgan eked out a 36-32 win this time to advance at the Oil Center Classic Tournament.

Beaver won the first quarter, taking a slight 7-5 advantage, but Forgan battled back with a 10-7 advantage in the second to lead by one at half, 15-14.

Forgan added one point to their lead in the third, and another two in the fourth for the four-point win.

Nikki Taylor led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 points, including 8 in the third quarter. Gabby Morales scored 9, with 7 coming in the fourth quarter – all at the free throw line.

Beaver's Jacinda Balderrama led all scorers with 11.

Forgan advances to face Shattuck today. Beaver will take on Turpin on the consolation side of the bracket.
