The Tyrone Bobcats busted out in the third quarter and went on to win 53-43 over tournament host Fargo to earn a trip to the championship game.

The Bobcats and Bearcats came out of the halftime locker room knotted at 21, but it was the Bobcats who surged ahead with an 18-8 third quarter advantage.

It proved to be the difference in the game with each team scoring 14 in the fourth to keep the final margin at ten.

Tyrone took a 12-8 lead in the first quarter, but Fargo fired back with a 13-9 advantage in the second to tie the game.

Ethan Reece led the Bobcats with 17 and Nerlin Rivera added 16. After Willie Slater scored 29 the night before, Fargo doubled-teamed him all night, and forced other Bobcats to step up at the offensive end.

Tyrone will take on Fort Supply at 8:15 Saturday night for the championship of the Fargo Invitational.
