The Beaver Lady Dusters outscored the Canton Lady Bullodgs 32-18 in the second half to claim the consolation trophy at the Oil Center Classic in Woodward.

Jacinda Balderrama, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored 20 and Kaitlin Kemp added 13.

Beaver trailed 16-15 at the half, but exploded for 19 points in the third quarter to go up 34-26 heading into the fourth.

A 13-8 advantage in the final quarter gave the Lady Dusters a 13-win.

Beaver started the game with great defense that led to a 6-2 advantage by the end of the first quarter. Canton fired back in the second to take the one-point lead at half.

Beaver was 13 of 24 at the line and made four threes.

Beaver (9-5) will travel to No.19 Texhoma Friday.
