ROLLA – Earlene Williams, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.
She was born March 13, 1933, to Earl Roger and Beva Roxanna (Bartley) Ipson in Rolla.
She married Perry A. Williams July 21, 1951, in Rolla at the United Methodist Church. He died Jan. 3, 1955.
She enjoyed music and was an accomplished pianist. She also enjoyed working crosswords and taking her granddaughters for car rides.
Survivors include sons, Brian Williams and wife, Socorro, Amarillo, Texas, Jack Williams, Rolla, and Greg Williams, Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Sue Anne Villarreal and husband, Roy, Wichita; brothers, James Ipson and wife, Mary Lou, Surprise, Ariz., and Louis Ipson, Mulvane; sister, Eileen Firmin, Mesquite, Texas; four granddaughters, Monica Williams, Kelly Anne Wood and Lauren and Ashley Villarreal; and one sister-in-law, Bonnie Ipson, Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Earl Roger Ipson; brother-in-law, Duane Firmin; sister-in-law, Peg Ipson; and nephews, Phillip Firmin and Richard Ipson.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Rolla, with Pastor Sandy Ferguson presiding.
Burial will follow at the Rolla Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
