Obituary

Sheila Opal Tackett, 63, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at her residence in Liberal.

She was born Aug. 17, 1950, to Leslie (Jake) and Maxine (Holding) Tackett in Joplin, Mo.

She chose the supportive program of Mosaic to help her.

Her hobbies included collecting radios and researching and collecting information about space and the NASA space program and listening to Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

Survivors include one brother, Dennis Tackett and wife, Bonnie; and three sisters, Billie Catron and husband, Lynn, Wichita, Carol Rogers and husband, Don, Greenwood, Ark., and Marilyn Faure, Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gary and Jerry Tackett.

• Cremation has taken place.

A private celebration of life will be at Mosaic in Liberal, at a later date.

A private Inurnment will be at the Kechi Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Mosaic in Liberal, to assist her friends in services, in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS.
