Even a last-minute venue change could not derail the Forgan Bulldogs.
The second-ranked Forgan Bulldogs continued to roll through competition, defeating the Fargo Bearcarts, 72-33.
Tuesday night's game was supposed to take place in Gage, but after a busted pipe flooded the school's gymnasium the Bulldogs had to travel the extra 15 miles or so to Fargo.
Forgan again set the tone for the game with first quarter defense, holding Fargo to just four points while taking a nine-point lead (15-4).
By half, the lead had increased to 21 (35-14).
A 19-13 advantage for the Bulldogs in the third pushed the lead to 27, and an 18-6 fourth made the final margin 39.
Forgan was 22 of 34 from inside the arc, and 5 of 11 outside. The Bulldogs made 13 of 19 free throws and forced 16 Bearcat turnovers.
Fargo was held to just 35 percent shooting, and was 7 of 7 at the free throw line.
Forgan (13-0) now looks ahead to their biggest matchup of the regular season – a road game at No.1 and defending state champion Arnett this Friday.
