A 21-7 first quarter start by the Goodwell Eagles put the Tyrone Bobcats in catch up mode early. Tyrone was never able to recover, losing 64-49.
The loss was especially stinging considering the Bobcats had already defeated the Eagles twice this season by 19 each time.
The Bobcats began to correct their course in the second quarter, but Goodwell still grabbed a 21-16 advantage to go up by 19 points at half (42-23).
The Eagles continued to add to their lead with a 15-10 third.
Tyrone had their best quarter in the fourth with a 16-7 advantage, but it was too little too late as the Eagles went on to win.
Willie Slater led the Bobcats in scoring with 19, and Ethan Reece added 16.
Tyrone (9-4) will try to bounce back against Balko (8-4) Thursday.
