The Elks Hoop Shoot recently took place at the Greenhouse at Seward County Community College. Participants were allowed to shoot 25 free throws in six different age groups. Mallorree Schlessman of Beaver, Okla., won the girls 9-year-old division with 16 free throws made. Aubrey Warden won the 10-year-old girls division by making 16 shots. Riley Schlessman of Beaver, Okla., won the 12-year-old girls division by making 21 shots. Tyrone’s Jaxon Bell won the 9-year-old boys division by making 18 shots. Tyrone’s Ethan Humphries won the 11-year-old boys division with 15 shots. Tyrone’s Alex Torres took the title in the 13-year-old age division with 15 shots.
