The Turpin Cardinals played one bad quarter Saturday, and it proved to be too costly to overcome in a 45-38 loss to the Fargo Bearcats.
Turpin led 23-17 at the half after an 18-12 advantage in the second gave them the lead.
But Turpin collapsed in the third as Fargo went on a 17-4 run to take the lead, 34-27 heading into the fourth.
The Cardinals were unable to make up any ground in the fourth with both teams scoring 11.
Matt Young led the Cardinals with 16 points, and Kyler Musgrave added 8.
Turpin (5-8) will host Beaver tomorrow.
