The Beaver Dusters handled their business in the first round of the Buffalo Invitational with a 53-36 win over the Fort Supply Bulldogs to advance to the tourney semifinals.

Garrett Weber scored 21 points, Jorge Rivera added 11, and Hadley Skaggs 7 for the Beaver Dusters.

Beaver jumped out to a 13-7 lead in the first quarter. Fort Supply battled back with a 13-11 advantage in the second, but the Dusters still led 24-20 at half.

Beaver dominated the second half, outscoring Fort Supply 29-16 to win by 17.

Beaver (12-5) will take on No.8 (9-1) Laverne today at 7:45 with the winner advancing to the championship, Saturday.
