The Forgan Bulldogs were steady throughout in their semifinal matchup with the Shattuck Indians at the Buffalo Invitational, winning 64-36 to advance to the finals.

Jace Kerr led the Bulldogs offensive output with 20 points; Chandler Bryer added 15, and Demetrius Alston and Trevin Lopez each scored 9.

Forgan led 17-10 at the end of the first quarter, and 33-19 at the half.

The Bulldogs stretched the lead to 19 by the end of the third quarter (47-28), and outscored Shattuck 17-8 in the fourth to win by 28.

Class B No.1 Forgan will face possibly their toughest opponent of the season so far in the championship game scheduled for Saturday at 7:45. The Bulldogs will take on Class A No.7 Laverne (10-1) who is just coming into their own after a late start to the season due to a long football season after winning their second straight state title.

Laverne reached the finals by defeating Beaver 75-60 in their semifinal game Friday night.
