The Meade Buffaloes held the Sublette Larks to just four points in the second quarter, giving them the separation they needed to pull away for a 59-35 win Friday night in Meade.
After the first quarter of play, Sublette was hanging with the Buffaloes, trailing just 14-12.
But that is when it turned sour for the Larks as Meade turned up the defensive pressure to take a 26-16 lead by halftime.
Meade added to their lead in the third with a 17-12 advantage, and put the game out of reach outscoring Sublette 16-7 in the fourth to win by 24.

Jett Little finished with 14 points; Morgan Olvera added 13, and Morgan Davis 10 for the Buffaloes.
Trevor Laverette led Sublette with 12, including a pair of threes. Sabastian Morales added 11.
Meade will play in Ashland next Friday. Sublette will host Deerfield, Tuesday.
