TURPIN, Okla.—The No.13 Shattuck Lady Indians came to Turpin Saturday and quickly proved why they are considered one of the best Class B teams in the state, overwhelming Turpin 63-35.
Shattuck’s Daniela Galindo also showed why she’s considered one of the top players in the state, scoring 26 points in just three quarters of play.
The Lady Cardinals trailed 13-5 three minutes into the game when Shattuck put the game away with a 13-0 run that put the Lady Indians up by 21 with 7:03 left in the first half.
Turpin trailed 43.14 at the half.
The Lady Cardinals did play better in the second half, but Shattuck continued to add to their lead with n 18-10 advantage in the third to go up by 37.
Turpin outscored Shattuck 11-5 in the fourth.
Alyssa Kinser was the Lady Cardinals top scorer with 14 points, including a pair of threes.
Turpin will travel to Guymon Tuesday.
