Juanita Earlene Weeks, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Satanta District Long Term Care Unit.

She was born Oct. 3, 1927, to Mace and Minnie (Subke) Stucker in Garden City.

She married Edwin “Tuffy” Weeks May 26, 1945, in Garden City. He died Jan. 28, 2012.

She was a graduate of Garden City High School.

She is survived by two sons, Brad Weeks, Satanta, and Bruce Weeks, Hutchinson; two daughters, Helen Weeks, Liberal, and Kathryn Mauch, Lamar, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son: Donald Dea Weeks, two brothers, Harold and Donald, and one great-grandson, Logan Redman.

• Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Satanta Long Term Care Unit in care of Miller Mortuary, 908 N. Lincoln Ave., Liberal, KS  67901.
