Ruth Charlene Beeton, 99, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center
She was born Jan. 28, 1911, to Frank and Phoebe (Colfeild) McDonald in Alva, Okla.
She married Homer Beeton Oct. 25, 1939, in Alva. He died Sept. 4, 2007
In 1929, she graduated from Bethany (Okla.) Nazarene Academy.
She was a homemaker and a music teacher for 25 years.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon K. Demers and husband, Ron, Garden City; one sister, Leta E. Black, Guymon, Okla.; three grandchildren, Serena Simmons, Lynn Stasser and Randell Stasser; and 10 great-grandchildren, Enjoli Stasser, Cierra Stasser, Jamie Simmons, Cody Simmons, Cade Stasser, Kelby Stasser, Jordan Stasser, Blake Stasser, Tristen Stasser and Clayton Stasser.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Homer Lee Beeton, one daughter, Judith Charlene Beeton, and two sisters, Nina Barnett and Vera Hall.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jack Jacob presiding.
Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
