The Forgan Lady Bulldogs hopes of a regional championship were quickly tucked away as the No.5 Shattuck Lady Indians won their 19th straight game in convincing fashion, 49-21.

Shattuck took control of the game at the opening tip and held Forgan scoreless in the first quarter as they built a 13-0 lead.

Shattuck hit six threes in the first half, and led 23-4 at the break.

Forgan played their best stretch of the game in the third, but were still outscored 12-11. Shattuck put the final touches on the game with a 14-6 advantage in the fourth to win by 28.

Forgan was 7 of 15 inside the arc, only 1 of 12 from beyond, and made just 4 of 13 free throws.

Shattuck shot just 31 percent from the field, but finished the game with eight made threes. The Lady Indians were 7 of 11 at the line.

Alex McBee scored all four of Forgan's first half points and finished the game with a team-high 6. Gabby Morales and KaDawn McReynolds each added 5.

Forgan will face Buffalo today at 6:30 at Shattuck in an elimination game.
