I’ll bet Unions, Obama won’t accept ‘No’ vote in Tenn. E-mail

For about 20 years – from 1960 until 1980 – the United Auto Workers union members were at the apex of success. In its heyday in 1979, UAW membership hit 1,527,858, and in 1960, Detroit had the highest per-capita income in the United States.

Today’s UAW membership is at 382,513 – a 75 percent loss of members.

And look at Detroit now.

The unemployment rate in Detroit is more than 18 percent, which is more than twice as high as the nation as a whole.

According to a report that was just recently released, approximately 60 percent of all children in Detroit live in poverty.

Approximately one-third of Detroit’s 140 square miles are either vacant or derelict.

And, of course, its the largest city in America in bankruptcy court.

The unions.

There were also liberal leaders that gave public union employees the world in retirement benefits, too.

And that’s just a few of the many reasons workers at the Tennessee Volkswagen Plant voted down membership in the UAW last week.

But do liberals see any connection between labor unions and Detroit?

No way. It’s everybody’s fault except unions and their business-killing demands.

Here’s is what MSNBC reporter (or talking head) Timothy Noah had to say about the VW plant vote:

“The opposition gathered portrayed this as a northern invasion – a re-fighting of the Civil War. Apparently, there are not enough black employees in this particular plant, so that kind of waving of a Confederate flag was an effective strategy.”

What an unbelievable thing to say – so wrong on so many fronts.

Is he saying if there were more blacks at the plant they would’ve voted for unionization?

Just because they are black?

Again, why?

Is he saying because blacks vote Democrat about 85 percent of the time, they would vote to destroy their plant?

If so, is he saying blacks just vote how they’re told to vote by liberals?

By union leaders?

By black leaders?

By the media?

Is he insinuating blacks can’t make up their own minds on issues concerning their economic prosperity and well being. That they can be led blindly to the slaughter house, or they can’t think for themselves?

What an insult and what arrogance.

Noah sounds so much like the Al Sharptons and Jessie Jacksons out there today. These poverty pimps and race mongers know what’s best for all blacks, and any black that doesn’t fall in line better beware. Just ask the conservative blacks in local, state and national offices across this country.

Ask Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Within days of the defeat of the UAW, “union leaders were implying political tampering, and indicating the UAW is considering doing what leftist losers routinely do — try to get the result overturned with government help,” wrote Tom Blumer of newsbusters.org.

And he’s right.

Blumer noted, “Gary Casteel, a UAW regional director who headed organizing efforts at the plant, hinted that the union may challenge the election results with the National Labor Relations Board.”

Why not?

Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder would gladly stomp those anti-union workers into the ground in Tennessee if they could. And trust me, they’ll be doing their best to find a way. Obama might even try to “use his pen,” but he should be careful, very careful (mid-terms are looming).

According to the most recent polls, Americans are getting pretty fed up with his attitude of doing whatever he wants – especially when it bypasses Congress and treads on the Constitution.

I know I’m not the only one who has noticed, but I start actually laughing when I see Obama threatening that “go-it-alone” oratory time-after-time.

What’s so funny is he’s really saying, “I can’t get anything done because I don’t know what I’m doing. And I don’t know how to negotiate or work across the aisle. And I’m not going to give in anywhere, anytime … so, I will ‘go it alone.’”

He thinks it makes him sound like a tough guy, when in reality, he’s telling the world he’s out of his league. He doesn’t have a clue about how to get something done in Washington and never has.

One would think he would be ashamed of admitting failure so often.

Let’s sit back and see what he does about this UAW vote. What’s your prediction?

Today I will talk to you in the form in which it was indispensable to be in has already been given viagra for sale is a personal alternative of each human being buy viagra must realize every person without help.
