The No.4 Cimarron Lady Blue Jays just had too much firepower for the Southwestern Heights Lady Mustangs to counter, especially on a rough shooting night. Heights saw their season come to a close with a 56-26 loss in the first round of sub-state.
Cimarron dominated from the opening tip, taking a15-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. A 19-10 advantage in the second quarter pushed the Lady Mustangs deficit to 23 at half (34-11).
By the end of the third quarter the lead was 29 (51-22). Cimarron put the game on cruise in the fourth for the win.
