ABOVE: A musical act takes the stage of Liberal High School’s James Maskus Auditorium Saturday night during the Pure Rebellion event hosted by the group Liberal Youth Fully Empowered.

LEFT: The band’s guitarist does his best to get the crowd worked up and excited. The night featured other presentations from people who had been through some of the troubles teens may be presented with on the walk of life, such as abortion, pornography and drugs and alcohol. LYFE would like to thank the following sponsors for making this event possible: Central Powers Systems; Church For All Nations; Conestoga; First Southern Baptist Church; First United Methodist Church; Helen Radohl; LHS facility staff; Liberal Ministerial Alliance; Pastor Bob Deacon/Faith Bible Church; Pastor Lawrence Johnson/Bible Way Church of God in Christ; Spencer Browne’s; Stand Out; Travis Scale Company; and Trinity Faith Church L&T photos/Robert Pierce
