The Meade Lady Buffaloes led Washington County for three quarters, but could not hold off the Lady Tigers in the fourth, losing 61-58.

With 1:31 left in the third quarter, Meade led 44-40 in a game that the Lady Buffaloes had led most of the way, but was close throughout.

But Meade went scoreless for the next four-and-a-half minutes, while Washington County scored eleven to go from down four to up seven with five minutes left.

Meade did not have their first field goal of the fourth until Lexus Leutters hit a three with 2:27 left that cut the Lady Tigers lead to five (57-52).

Bailey Olvera hit two late threes to keep the Lady Buffaloes within striking distance, and Washington County missed 8 of 12 free throws to help keep the game close as well.

Bailey Olvera led the Lady Buffs in scoring with 16 points, and Jaylin Stapleton 10.

Meade finishes the season 20-6, and looks to have a bright future with only one senior on this year's team.
