ELKHART – Lynn Fowler, 80, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home in Elkhart.
He was born June 18, 1933 to Glenn and Susie (Shrauner) Fowler in rural Morton County.
He married Jo Ann White on Feb. 1, 1953 in Elkhart. She survives.
He farmed and worked as a pumper for Panhandle Eastern from 1955-1986.
He continued to farm and was a co-owner in Elkhart Lumber. He enjoyed meeting the customers and having coffee with his friends.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and cattle.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart.
Survivors include sons, Eddie Fowler and wife Ruth, and Kent Fowler and wife Kathryn; daughters, Rhonda Haar and husband Bill, and Tonnah Perkins and husband Tim; sister, Freda Murray-Tucker, all Elkhart; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Keith and Kenneth.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart with Pastor Keith Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
