A 20-year-old local woman was assaulted Friday evening by an unknown man when he used his vehicle to ram her car and force her into the ditch.

According to a press release from Seward County Sheriff’s Detective Lana Cudgel, the young woman was driving on a county road around 11:30 p.m. when her vehicle was struck from behind repeatedly by a black GMC Sonoma. The woman alleged after hitting her vehicle several times, the driver of the Sonoma then forced her into the ditch.

The vehicle was described as a 1998 to 2004 black GMC Sonoma with a dark rear window. The driver is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 to 25, approximately 5-feet, 5- or 6-inches tall with a shaved head.

The Sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information leading to the identity of this man to contact Detective Cudgel at (620) 309-2000. He is wanted on aggravated assault.
