Originally scheduled to be the season opener Thursday, the game between the Cardinals and White Sox was pushed back to Sunday afternoon, and the Cardinals took advantage of the picture perfect day to earn two wins.

Syris Dunlap went three-for-three to lead the Cardinals to a 10-1 win in the major league contest.

Ulises Rivera went two-for-two as did Lee Hatcher.

Braxton Hyde pitched five innings and only gave up two hits, walked three and struck out 13.

Brodie Sumner and Hunter Carson each had hits for the White Sox in the loss.

Tonight, the Tigers and A’s will being their season at Rosel Field, and the Royals and Tigers will face off Tuesday. The minor league game starts at 6 p.m. with major league games schedule to begin around 7:30 p.m.
