KENNETH JINKS

ULYSSES – Kenneth Jinks, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.  

He was born Aug. 11, 1928, to Charles and Delores (Pudge) Jinks at Big Bow.  

He married Loyce Hopper.

He attended and graduated from Larned High School in 1946.  He lettered in basketball, football and baseball and was a member of the Men’s Chorus.

He worked for Northrup Aircraft.  

He enjoyd golfing and fishing, square dancing, round dancing, traveling and flying.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda McGaughy and husband, Jack, Lewisville, Texas, Cindy Harvey, Sabetha, Becky Hyde and husband, Scott, Jenks, Okla., and Kim Thomas and husband, Dexter, Luther, Okla.; two brothers, Eldon Jinks, Mount Hope, and Jerry Jinks, Larned;  five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one cousin, Betty Caldwell, Ulysses.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lois Zabaldo.

o Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ulysses Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Flanders presiding.  

Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS  67880.
