With two exhibitions and a 1-0 Amateur Mixed Matial Arts record behind him, Juan Guerrero brings a balnced approach when he will enter the cage Saturday at the Seward County Ag Building.

After showcasing a stong ground game, Guerrero has been following that up with a more potent stand-up strategy, including powerful kicks.

“I’ve mostly used the ground game and just used my strength,” he said. “I try to go for the submission, but I ground and pound if I can’t get it, and work back and forth.”

Now, Guerrero will be fine on his feet.

“Whatever (my opponent) brings, I got.”
