BEAVER, Okla. – Leon Kay Williams, age 66, died April 14, 2014 at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City.
He was born June 29, 1947 to Paul and Betty Marie (Fisher) Williams in Liberal.
He married Deanna Delay on April 9, 1967 in Liberal. She survives.
He worked for Nichols’ Water Service for 29 years: 16 years as a truck driver and 13 years as a dispatcher.
Survivors include son, James Leon Williams, Oklahoma City; daughter, Patricia Kay Vanatta, Forgan, Okla.; brother, Freddy Williams and wife Robin, Lacey, Wash.; grandchildren: Keesha Otto, Ashley Self, Ty Vanatta, Cameron Vanatta, Austin Vanatta, Jeremy Williams and Joey Williams; and great-grandson Zackery Otto.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Williams; and granddaughter Alyssa Williams.
• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Forgan, Okla. with Pastor Paul Dickson presiding.
Burial will take place at a later date.
