Larry Norman Winget, 73, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.

He was born October 8, 1940 to Norman and Marie (Hunsaker) Winget  in Larned.

He  married Ruthie M. Traver  on March 2, 2002 at Garden City, Kansas.  She survives.

Survivors include two sons, Layne Winget, Jetmore and Wayne Winget, Wichita; three stepchildren: Jimmie Hughes, Harrison, Ark., Kent Hughes, Meade, and Lori Walters, Ulysses;  sister, Karen Klinge and husband Johnny, Garden City; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

• Funeral service will be on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with Pastor Heath Kelley presiding.

Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
