WICHITA – Julia Z, Starkey,  92, died Thursday, April 24, 2014.

She was born June 27, 1921 to Ed and Hester Woods in Beaver County, Okla.

Survivors include sons, Edward (Jaxine) Starkey, Wichita, and Michael (Liz) Starkey, Liberal; daughter, Mildred Jones (Tony Stephens), Pearland, Texas; sister, Madeline Brown of Amarillo,Texas; seven grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor; brother, Lester Woods; and sisters, Laura Stafford and Christel Hainline.

• Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 5th at Schowalter Villa, 200 S. Cedar, Hesston, KS 67062.

Memorials are suggested to Schowalter Villa.
