HILLSBORO – Robert C. Jost, 93, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

He was born Aug 12, 1920 to Peter G. and Elizabeth (Funk) Jost in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Jost, Hillsboro; son, Lynn A. (Joyce) Jost, Sterling, Colo.; daughters, Robetta Trapp, North Newton, and Nancy (Robert) Ozick, Falcon, Colo.; brother, Karl Jost, Hillsboro; sister, Katherine Sommerfeld, Lindsborg; grandchildren: Gretchen Wagner, Rachel Quick, Craig Jost, Darin Jost, and Nathan Ozick; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Roger L. Jost in 1948; and son-in-law, Harold Trapp in 2002.

• Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at The Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

Memorials are suggested to Navigators, Bible Study Fellowship or Melvin Pike Support in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063.
