Area athletes made their way to Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma City for the 1A-2A State Track Meet Friday and Saturday.

Two athletes brought home gold with Hooker's Roberto Barrios winning the 2A 1600 meters, and Brad Alba of Turpin winning the 1A 300 meter hurdles.

The Texhoma girls won 1A, and the Turpin girls team was named the academic state champion.

1A GIRLS

100 meter dash — 2. Annalynn Kirkhart, Turpin, 12.56.

200 meter dash — 3. Kirkhart, Turpin, 27.94.

800 meter run — 3. Trista Watson, Turpin.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

300 meter hurdles — 1. Brad Alba, Turpin, 41.46.

4 x 100 meter relay — 4. Turpin, 45.22.

4 x 400 meter relay — 5. Turpin, 3:39.04.

4 x 800 meter relay — 6. Beaver, 8:45.66.

High jump — 2. Jace Kerr, Forgan, 6-2.

Pole vault — 6. Gunnar Lansden, Beaver, 11-0.

2A GIRLS
