Three singles and three doubles teams from Southwestern Heights and Meade qualified for the state tennis tournament by finishing in the top six at the 3A Regional at Cimarron, Saturday.
Meade finished second in team points with 12. Heights tied for third with 9.
Hieghts' doubles team of Richard Navarette and Ashton Lee finished third with a 6-0, 6-0 first round win; a 6-0, 6-2 second round win before falling in the semifinals 3-6, 6-4, 0-6.
Navarette and Lee then beat Garrett Blehm and Ryan Friesen of Meade, 7-5, 6-1, to take third.
Blehm and Freisen had reached the game by winning their first round match, 6-3, 6-1; the second match 6-2, 6-1 before losing in the semifinals, 1-6, 0-6.
Aaron Gleason and Blake Reimer of Meade also qualified for state, finishing in sixth place.
After losing their second round matchup, Gleason and Reimer bounced back to win their final two matches, 6-0, 6-3, and 6-4, 6-1.
In singles, Dalton Holmes of Southwestern Heights finished in fourth place.
Holmes won his opener, 6-1, 6-1, then won his quarterfinal 6-1, 2-6, (13-11). Holmes then lost to eventual regional champ Marc Waite of Ellingwood, 2-6, 1-6.
Dalton Wiens and Noah Martin Meade finished fifth and sixth to also qualify for state. Weins was 3-1 with his final win over his teammate Martin, 6-0, 6-2.
The state tournament will take place in Goddard this Friday and Saturday.
