Garden City finished two strokes ahead of Hays Monday in the Liberal all Western Athletic Conference tournament at Willow Tree Golf Course.

Liberal finished 40 strokes off the lead in fifth place.

Blake Stout led the Redskins with an 81, good enough for ninth place overall.

Garrett Poulton was second for the Redskins with a 90.

Caleb Brond shot a 93.

Blake Brenneman struggled on the back nine to finish with a 95.

The Redskins will now prepare for the regional golf tournament that will take place Monday.
