Jake Boese, 58, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born April 19, 1951, to Eugene L. and Jennie C. Rankin Boeseat in Perryton, Texas.

He graduated Liberal High School in 1971.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. For 13 years, he was employed at National Beef Packing Co.

He was a member of the VFW Lane Day Post No. 3166 of Liberal.

He is survived by one brother, Jim Boese, Liberal; one sister, Sherri Woolridge and husband, Larry, Liberal; two nephews, B.J. and Dustin Woolridge.

He was preceded in death  by his parents and one brother, Danny Boese.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller Chapel with the Rev. Bill Prater presiding.

Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
