Ryan Matthew Davis, 30, died May 15, 2014, in Wichita.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1983, to Mark and Doris (Behm) Davis in Garden City.

He graduated from Fellowship Baptist School and Seward County Community College School. He was studying Criminal Justice at Wichita State University.

He worked at Riverside Academy in Wichita as a teacher and counselor and the Kansas Boxing Commission as an inspector. He also worked as a volunteer firefighter for the Seward County Fire Department.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

He was a member of the Wichita chapter of the Ruff Ryders and the Underground Kings and Queens.

His enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working with kids.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Christopher Davis and wife, Stephanie, Henderson, Texas;  grandmother, Gertrude Davis, Garden City; aunt, Donna Owens, Holcomb; nephews, Cyle and Travin Davis; niece, Madisun Boese Davis; special friend, Sandra Aves and her daughter, Cassandra, Wichita; and Ruff Ryder "brothers and sisters."

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Evelyn Behm, and paternal grandfather, Arthur Davis.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Prater presiding.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Richfield Cemetery, with Pastor David Jones presiding.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Ryan Davis Memorial Fund in care of Brenneman Funeral home, 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS, 67901.
