Olney’s Devon Byrne is a little more versed in the art of track and field than flipping pancakes.

Byrne set the world record in the International Pancake Race earlier this year for her third consecutive victory in the race, and later this week the track start won the heptathlon title in Bedford, England.

Byrne ran the 100 meter hurdles in 15.02 seconds despite a slight headwind and followed with a shot put throw of 36.5 feet.

Byrne cleared the high jump at 5.15 feet, and returned to the track to finish the 200 meter dash in 26.4 seconds.

Byrne finished the long jump with a distance of 17.15 feet. She threw the javelin 122.64 feet and then turned in a personal best time in the 800 meter run of 2:17.58 to secure the heptathlon title in England.
