Obituary

 

GUYMON, Okla. – William Jennings (Bill) Bryan, 86, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at his home in Guymon.

He was born May 28, 1927, to Eula K. (Watson) and Edgar Marvin Bryan in Bryan's Corner, Beaver County, Okla.

He graduated from Bethany Consolidated High School in 1945.

He served in the United States Navy, in the Pacific Theater.

He was a farmer and a rural mail carrier.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Betty and Bill Triplett, Canyon, Texas, Jack and Joan Bryan, Duncanville, Texas, David R. and Mary Lou Bryan, Ponca City, Okla., Pat M. and Connie Bryan, Edmond, Okla., and Marvin and Zipra Morgan, Austin, Texas; and friend, Mary Janzen, Perryton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martha D. Bryan Gardner, Bessie Farrel, Alice Morgan, Ella Bryan and Della Bryan; brothers, Elmo W. Bryan and Rueben M. (Jack) Bryan; and twins, Jeff and Lou Bryan

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13 at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth Street, Guymon, Okla.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13 at Bethany Cemetery in Bryan's Corner.
