ELKHART – Linda LaRae Waggoner, 51, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Baptist St. Anthony in Amarillo, Texas.
She was born Dece. 3, 1958, to David and Linda Sue (Pollock) Waggoner in Kiowa.
She attended grade school in Greensburg and Mullinville. She graduated from Satanta High School in 1977.
She was an equipment operator for the Kansas Department of Transportation in Rolla.
She enjoyed making people laugh and animals.
Survivors include her parents; two sons, Jason Groth and wife, Sandra, Panama City, Fla., and Justin Groth and Ginger Barners, Elkhart; two brothers, Danny Waggoner, Menard, Texas, and Rick Waggoner and wife, Kim, Satanta; two sisters, Tammy Hamill and husband, Tim, Holcomb, and Brandi Stapleton and husband, Bart, Liberal; five grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Madison, Kaleb and Devan; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Juanita “Grandma Peter Rabbit” Pollock and Orva and Mae Waggoner.
o Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta with the Rev. Tod Anthony presiding.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Haskell County Funeral Home.
