Eric Cantor’s defeat sends message; Dems don’t get it E-mail

The upset defeat of U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in Tuesday’s Republican primary in Virginia stunned many, including the GOP establishment.

The immediate response by Democrats was simply giddy, to say the least – proving once more, they don’t have a clue about what’s going on in this country.

Democrats began their spin within minutes of the polls closing – those horrible, Bible totin’, gun-loving red necks in the tea party are ripping the Republican party apart, and the Dems couldn’t be happier. When I heard some on TV, I swear I think they were wetting their panties.

Another part of the spin is that this primary was only about immigration reform – that political neophyte David Brat, who beat Cantor 56 to 44 percent, hates all forms of immigration reform.

Democrats want Americans (actually Hispanics) to believe that tea party-supported politicians will deport every illegal in this country at the drop of a hat.

Dems also know their only hope in the mid-term elections in November and the presidential election in 2016 rests on how much fear they can sew in the minds of Hispanics. They will be pushing for total amnesty for all illegals in order to, in essence, buy Hispanics’ votes and their allegiance to the Democratic party.

Why do you think Obama pushes illegal resolutions like the “Dream Act” down Republicans’ and Americans’ throats?

Why are Dems happy to see thousands of children crossing the border illegally?

At every turn, Democrats are pushing for more amnesty, for more illegals to be brought into the fold, and allowing these folks to avoid consequences for illegally entering this country.

Forget the economic and social toll illegal immigration is having on this country and its citizens, Democrats could care less. It’s all about power and maintaining power.

Democrats believe with every beat of their hearts that the Hispanics are the key to keeping them in power, and whether its good or bad for the country is totally irrelevant.

Here is what Democrat Rep. Xavier Becerra of California said in a Wednesday AP article by David Espo:

“For Republicans in the House, my sense is they are now squeezed between doing things the tea party way or doing things the American way,” he said in an appearance Wednesday morning on MSNBC.

See what I mean when I say no clue. He fails to acknowledge it was Americans who voted Cantor out and Brat in. Americans who said enough is enough. Americans who want law and order in their country. Americans who are sick and tired of an Adminstration running afoul of the rule of law and the Constitution.

So Xavier, since you are not a tea party type, does that make you an American? Do you know what Americans want? Do you know what the “American way” is? Do you think you speak for Americans – or just illegal Hispanics?

Here is what Nancy Pelosi said in the same article:

“Eric Cantor has long been the face of House Republicans’ extreme policies, debilitating dysfunction and manufactured crises. Tonight, is a major victory for the tea party as they yet again pull the Republican Party further to the radical right,” Pelosi said. “As far as the midterm elections are concerned, it’s a whole new ballgame.”

Man, where do you start with that incoherent drivel?

First off, Cantor is the face of “extreme policies?” You mean like a balanced budget? Like cutting our national debt? Eliminating political-based regulations that cripple the economy? Like trying to create economic incentives to improve employment?

The list goes on-and-on, Nancy.

Second, “manufactured crisis?”

Like Fast and Furious? Like Benghazi? Like the IRS scandal? Like the VA debacle? Like swapping five war criminals for a deserter?

The list goes on-and-on, Nancy.

Third, “As far as the midterm elections are concerned, it’s a whole new ballgame?”

Do you think the Dems can take control of the House?

Do you think Dems can maintain a majority in the Senate?

You’re demented, Nancy, and the synonyms go on-and-on-and-on-and-on…

Cantor’s defeat “is” sending a message across the nation, and it’s not what the Democrats are selling. In fact, Dems better open their eyes and ears, because the message is clear – conservatives, libertarians, independents (and some Dems) have had enough of the status quo.

See you at the polls.
